What I've been feeling more clearly lately is that a good environment suited to me fosters healthy growth.
Since discovering tea and yoga, I learned to meet myself in the early dawn and focus. By exposing myself to those moments to become closer to who I am in those hours, I've gained countless blessings and opportunities.
These blessings and opportunities aren't anything grand. Meeting teachers at tea exhibitions, sharing tea together, exchanging words of affection and gifts. Successfully completing a pose that was once too difficult, feeling a sense of achievement, and receiving compliments from those around me. Sharing delicious food out of gratitude—these things, regardless of their scale, spark small happinesses and love in my life. And these experiences give me self-assurance, boosting my self-esteem. Isn't this the beautiful life that blooms in a good environment?
If you love yourself, you must strive to place your body—the one and only vessel that moves your mind—into a good environment. Making this the core of your life can help settle a scattered heart. As self-awareness deepens and you become more refined, you can extend generosity to others. I believe life can become simpler, and you can draw closer to the goals you desire.
Scooping leaves from a gifted pu-erh tea and sipping it, I once again have a precious moment of caring for myself in a good environment.
